In the film, Archer reveals a reality marble called Unlimited Blade Works during his confrontation with Shirou and Saber. He unleashes a hail of swords at them and takes the opportunity to kidnap Rin. Later, Rin transfers a part of her magical seals over to Shirou so that he can utilize Unlimited Blade Works to counter Gilgamesh. Shirou activates Unlimited Blade Works at Ryuudou Temple, overpowering and severing Gilgamesh's arm. The reality marble is a manifestation of the user's soul and ideals, requiring significant magical energy and a strong conceptual foundation to maintain.
